Jessica Liston

Climate & Water Manager

With a multidisciplinary background in climate policy, project management, and data analysis, Jessica helps integrate climate resilience into RWA’s work. Prior to joining RWA, Jessica has worked in a variety of water and energy policy spaces in both the public and private sectors. Previous experience includes developing a visionary framework for water policy in California with the Climate + Community Institute, tracking and quantifying global climate finance flows with Climate Policy Initiative, and advocating for state-level renewable energy standards with the Renewable Energy Alaska Project. Her focus is on supporting the redesign of infrastructure systems in a way that is just and sustainable.  

She has a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Astrophysics from Columbia University. She is currently based in the Bay Area. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore new places, read novels, and spend time outside, preferably somewhere with clear skies for stargazing.
